In Hayward, at the Riverbrook bike shop, we found Owen a pair of Shimano mountain bike shoes, used for $20.  The are close to new and probably in the $120/150 range new. Perfect!

Also, on the way to the cabin, there's an old barn along the side of the road.  The owner will sometimes have rusty bed frames or other rusty farm stuff out front for sale.  Saturday just sitting in the grass were these two club chairs.  I stopped and looked at them.  They were older, but in extremely good condition.  I called the guy and offered him $50 for both.  He drove his tractor down to the barn and we made the deal.  I was not expecting to find chairs like this in Wisconsin farm country.  Sweet!  Now they are in the living room.  Kind of strange.
